There are a lot of beautiful websites that don't convert. They win design awards and generate zero enquiries. That's not what we're aiming for. Every design decision — from the hero headline to the button colour — is made with the question: does this help someone take the next step?
Speed matters. According to Google, 53% of mobile users abandon a page that takes longer than 3 seconds to load. We build on Astro — a framework that produces some of the fastest sites available. Our builds routinely score 95+ on Lighthouse without any tricks. That's good for users and good for your search rankings.

How long does a website project take?
Most small business websites take 4–8 weeks from brief to launch. Larger sites with more content or functionality take longer. The biggest variable is content — if copy and images are supplied quickly, the project moves faster.
Will my website work on mobile?
Yes — and this is non-negotiable. We design mobile-first, which means the mobile experience is the starting point, not the afterthought. Over 60% of small business website traffic typically comes from mobile devices.
Do you write the copy too?
We work with you on the copy — we'll guide the structure, review what you write, and help improve it. Full copywriting is available as an add-on. We won't publish a site with copy that isn't genuinely good.
What platform do you build on?
We build on Astro — a modern static site framework that's significantly faster than WordPress or Webflow for most small business sites. Pages load in under a second on a good connection. No plugins, no bloat.
Can I update my own content after launch?
Yes. We can set up a simple content management layer so you can edit text and swap images without touching code. We'll train you on it and make sure you're comfortable.
What about hosting and ongoing maintenance?
We deploy to Cloudflare Pages — hosting is included in the build cost, and ongoing costs are minimal (domain registration is the main expense). We offer optional maintenance retainers for regular updates.
