Logo Design

A logo that works everywhere and means something. Three concepts. Refined to something you'll use with pride.

Starting from

Every logo project starts with a conversation about your business, your audience, and what the logo actually needs to do. Then we design. You get three real concepts — not three versions of the same idea.

The process

How a logo project works.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation covering your business, your audience, your competitors, and what you're looking for. This is where the brief gets set properly. No discovery call = no project start.

  2. 02

    Research + strategy

We look at your market, your competitors, your audience, and your current position. This shapes the creative brief — what the logo needs to communicate, what it should feel like, and what territory to avoid.

  3. 03

    Concept development

We develop three distinct directions — each presented with rationale. Not three colour swaps, but three genuinely different approaches to solving the brief. You choose one (or we talk about what's missing).

  4. 04

    Refinement

Two rounds of revisions on the chosen concept — adjustments to shape, weight, colour, and spacing until it's right. Most projects land comfortably within these.

  5. 05

    File delivery

All files named, organised, and delivered in a single folder. A usage guide is included so you (and anyone you work with) knows how to apply the logo correctly.

Our approach

What we believe about logo design.

A logo has one job: recognition. It should work at favicon size and on the side of a van. In black and white. On a coffee cup. Against a dark background. Most logo problems aren't aesthetic — they're functional. Too complex, too literal, too trendy, or trying to say too much.

We design logos that are simple, scalable, and built to last. Not because simple is easy — it's much harder than complex — but because simple is what works. We don't chase trends. We don't do wordplay-heavy concepts that only make sense if you explain them. We design marks that communicate clearly and hold up over time.

If you're after a logo that'll still look right in ten years, you're in the right place. If you want the trendy thing, there are other designers for that.

FAQ

Logo design questions answered.

How many logo concepts will I see?

You'll see three distinct concepts — each a genuine direction, not minor variations of the same idea. You pick the one you want to develop. If none of the three feel right, we have a conversation before any revision rounds start.

How many revision rounds are included?

Two revision rounds on the chosen concept. In practice, most projects land somewhere in the first. If you need additional rounds beyond the two, we'll quote for them — but it's rarely needed when the brief is clear upfront.

What file formats will I actually receive?

SVG, PDF, and PNG — all colour versions, all in a named folder so you can find them when you need them. SVG and PDF are vector files and can be printed at any size. PNG is for web and digital use.

Do I own the logo once the project is complete?

Yes — full ownership transfers to you on final payment. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio, but the IP is yours.

What's the difference between this and a brand identity package?

The logo design package gives you a strong mark with a colour palette and usage guidance. The brand identity package goes further — a full system including colour usage rules, typography guidelines, pattern/texture elements, and application examples. If you're at an early stage, the logo is the right starting point. You can build the full identity later.
